Flair 58 High Uniformity Basket

The new Flair High Uniformity Basket features a hole pattern with 1,800 individual extraction points. This high uniformity hole pattern is wider than any of our other baskets, with 25% more holes than Flair’s accessory High Flow Basket, and an incredible 37% more than Flair’s standard Low Flow – chamfered – basket!

This increased coverage allows for even extractions out to the edges of the basket, limiting channeling by spreading the flow out over more of the puck. That, coupled with the smaller .2mm holes, delivers an incredibly clean cup, with low fines, and a great emphasis on the bright notes and high aromatics sought after in lighter roasts, while also limiting any undesirable earthiness, or muddy body.

We recommend this basket for any coffee, but it will really make your light roasts pop!

Flair 58 Etched Puck Screen

The Flair 58 Etched Puck Screen, beautifully branded with the Flair 58 logo, will soften and even out the delivery of water to the coffee bed and is an improvement on the original Flair 58 sintered mesh screen. This etched screen is easier to clean, does not retain any fines, and does not require a pre-wet to prevent edge channeling.

This etched screen, complete with the Flair 58 logo, is made of magnetic stainless steel, providing the option for easier removal with any magnet, including that featured on the articulating shot mirror. This material also means a quicker preheat, as compared to the sintered mesh.

The Dual Chamber Case for the NEO Flex is a wonderful upgrade. Providing home-brewers with the ability to store their Flex safely, whenever they need, in addition to bringing it with them wherever they go. The dual chamber design stores the frame and base of the Flex apart, separated by a foam insert. This design ensures maximum portability and safety, while the Flex stays in optimal condition.
